Best Junior Detective Fiction is adjudicated through a two-stage preselection involving fourteen Panel Judges and leading to the Blackwell Gadda Workshop.
The Workshop
Scottish thriller maestro Denise Mina and Bafta-winner TV director Annie Griffin will conduct a workshop in creative writing, with actress Daniela Nardini reading extracts from the twelve semifinalist submissions. The Workshop is open to the general public. The four finalists going to the Award Ceremony will be announced at the end of the Workshop. The winner of the prize will be announced at the Award Ceremony.
