Giuliano Cenati (PhD History of Italian Language & Literature) is Assistant Professor at Milan University, where he teaches Literature and Culture in Contemporary Italy at the Department of Language Mediation and Intercultural Communication. His research areas include narrative genres in the modern age, sociology of literary reception, entertainment literature, fringe literature, graphic novel and comics, with particular focus on experimental prose writers such as Antonio Delfini, Alberto Savinio, Juan Rodolfo Wilcock, and the entertainment narrative produced by authors such as Fruttero & Lucentini or Giovanni Mosca. He is on the editorial board of Tirature directed by Vittorio Spinazzola. His monographs include Torniamo a bomba. I ghiribizzi narrativi di Vittorio Imbriani (Led 2004), Disegni, bizze e fulmini.
