The Prize in Brief
Gadda Giovani takes the Edinburgh Gadda Prize to Italy. The prize is open to secondary schools in six Italian regions Gadda wrote extensively about (Abruzzo, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Lombardy, Molise and Sardinia), leading to regional and national finals. Public events consist in workshops in creative writing, other media and performance in which hosts work with finalists to a set of tasks based on the theme of the awards Detecting Italy.
